Walk Description: The walk starts at The Crown, Goostrey, CW4 8PE and includes some road walking and tracks with a section of bridle track. The walk will include quiet country roads, footpaths, and farm tracks some of which may be muddy particularly after heavy rain.

Estimated walk time:     2 hours.

Distance:            Not more than 5 miles

Terrain:                Generally flat

Stiles:                  None

Breaks:                Usual break part way round for a drink. Lunch available at The Crown, Main Road Goostrey, after the walk.

Meeting Point:  Holmes Chapel Community Centre car park at 09.30am or to leave the car park at The Crown at 10.00am. Please inform the Group Leader if you plan to travel straight to The Crown.

Equipment:        The usual walking boots, waterproof coat, and trousers with gaiters if preferred. Suitable hat and suncream if hot.

Lunch: Please advise if you wish to have lunch at the Crown.  If there are ten or fewer of us, we do not need to pre-order. But if there are more than ten of us, we may need to give them our choice of menu.  The latest menu can be found at:
