Social Bridge (25/26 Season)


Group Description :
Social Intermediate Bridge Group on Tuesday afternoons. Our Bridge Group promotes a social atmosphere for playing Bridge whilst still providing an element of competition with an informal Tournament.   In our Bridge group we do not adhere to the strict rules of other Bridge groups, allowing reference to bridge 'crib sheets' and player's notes.  In this way we can successfully integrate the less experienced players with the more experienced ones.   As well as occasional 'tuition' sessions, advice is available during the Tournaments.  If you think this group is suitable for your level of skill, then please contact the Group Leader via the email button.

The group will start on 2nd September 2025 and run into June 2026.   Sessions are held at St Luke's Church Hall in Holmes Chapel.

Sessions will start at 12.45 prompt for 2 1/2 hrs, allowing a finish in time for those players needing to pick up children from school.  Payment will be in periodic £10 contributions (approximately every 7-8 weeks), depending on numbers, room hire and any additions needed to playing equipment.
