Tai Chi - Qi Gong 25/26 Season)

Group Description :

Tai Chi Qi Gong is for health, exercise and relaxation. It helps develop flexibility, strength and improves balance, thus helping to prevent falls and since the movements are performed while standing they assist in bone formation and strengthening that helps prevent the onset of osteoporosis. Qi Gong helps to stimulates the central nervous system, lower blood pressure and relieves stress whilst gently toning the muscles.

Qi Gong is suitable for people of all ages and all levels of fitness. The movements are performed slowly and gently for health benefits. If you have mobility difficulties then there are some exercises that can be done sitting down. Our tutor Mark teaches the Chen style of Tai Chi.

We must pay for our tutor, so payment will be in advance, four or six weeks at a time, the charge will be reviewed periodically against numbers attending. It will likely be around £5 per session.

The next season will start on 18th September 2025 at 2:30pm for an hour in the Scout HQ Holmes Chapel.
