We are gauging interest for a new group focusing on birdwatching and wildlife. The intention is to run a mixture of outdoor sessions and indoor talks/ presentations. It is hoped that the group will visit places such as Astbury Mere, Brereton Nature reserve and RSPB Burton Mere wetlands (50 minutes from Holmes Chapel). Ideas from members who would like to join the group are welcomed. The indoor sessions are likely to be held at Holmes Chapel Methodist church hall on the third Monday in the month from 1pm - 3pm with outdoor sessions varying in time according to group decisions. We are hoping to start the group in January 2026 with a maximum of 20 members.
