Walk Description:
Starting from Rode Heath, near Alsager, this walk is about 5 miles, skirting Rode Hall and taking in parts of the Market Towns Trail, the South Cheshire Way and the Trent and Mersey Canal. It is not entirely flat but there are no challenging inclines. Some paths are through thick grass, others may be muddy, so waterproof boots or shoes are a must. 
There will be the usual stop en route for any drinks and snacks that you have brought.

Lunch will be available at The Royal Oak, Rode Heath. This pub bravely re-opened 6 months ago after a total refurbishment. Please let me know if you intend to stay.
