Our next outing will be a trip to Macclesfield, a town of outstanding pubs. We will catch the 10.58 train from Holmes Chapel to Macclesfield via Stockport. Once there, we will visit some of the best local hostelries, carefully selected by Ruth, and also have lunch. The return will be via the same route and we will aim to get back around 7.30ish, although trains are quite frequent.
The train will be stopping at Sandbach and Goostrey so members who wish to travel from these stations can do so.
There will be further information sent to applicants if required as it becomes available.
