Our Aims: To provide an opportunity for beginners to learn & practice within a small, friendly and supportive group environment, sharing the enjoyment of guitar playing (and singing) - after all " Music is the food of love!".

We will help Beginners through both practical support and advice to quickly help to build their confidence and skills - members will do this by learning to actually play a selection of well known songs and not just by practicing scales!

In addition to an acoustic guitar (preferably steel strung) we recommend that you will need to have a music stand, a clip-on guitar tuner and a guitar stand - we will provide all the song sheets and chord information. 

 Start by learning a few simple chords and then with practice you will soon be able to play a range of songs. As you improve we will introduce you to more chords and more songs - ultimately membership of the Intermediate Group membership awaits you!
